Kynric Trades Calculators is a set of 61 free calculators for Australian building and trade work — stairs and stringers, framing, roofing and trusses, concrete, brick and mortar, decking, fencing, flooring, insulation and more. Every calculation runs in your browser. There is no account, no paywall and no upsell.

Why it's free. The tools are supported by display advertising. That is the whole business model for this site — we would rather run ads than put a working stair calculator behind a signup form.

Who builds it. The site is built and maintained by Kynric (ABN 53 393 229 618), a small digital product studio in New South Wales, Australia. Kynric builds websites, AI tools and complete products for Australian trade and local-service businesses. The calculators come out of real site experience — trade scheduling, drainage, standards and certifier work — not from scraping formulas off other sites.

Accuracy. Every result is an estimate to help you plan and order. It is not a substitute for sign-off by a licensed tradesperson, a certified engineer or a building surveyor, and it is not a substitute for the National Construction Code, the relevant Australian Standards, or your own council's requirements. Check the numbers before you cut, pour or order.
